Orders to remove chromium-6 with ChroNo64® will be carried out by Van Ginkel Groep from that moment on. “Because we helped develop it”, says André van Ginkel, director of the Van Ginkel Groep, “we have all the expertise in house to remove chromium-6 safely and quickly. We prepare the work with a risk analysis or an HSE plan. We carry out the work and, if desired, we can also carry out minor (welding) repairs, have parts aligned and prepare surfaces for a new coating. Finally, we dispose of waste according to the guidelines.”
Special blasting cabin to remove chromium-6
Van Ginkel Groep can carry out work on location or disassemble parts and transport them to the workshop where a specially equipped blasting cabin is available to remove chromium-6. “I think we are one of the few in the world with such a blasting cabin. The wet residue is neatly collected and we extract the fumes in such a way that the visibility of our radiators remains good, which benefits the speed of the work.”
