On 4 January 2016, we started with our services in Rotterdam at De Koningshavenbrug, also known as De Hef. The largest and most famous lift bridge, De Hef of Rotterdam, was designed in 1927 by an engineer of the Dutch Railways. This steelconstruction is a national monument and has over 28.000m² of steelconstruction.

For this project, The Fall/Het Val (the middle construction) was lifted out by floating cranes and transported to the Port of Rotterdam.
Van Ginkel Groep is in this case responsible for blasting the steelconstruction (+28.000m²).
